Meet our fabulous tutors who deliver the short hair and beauty courses that we run here at the Academy. They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise regarding the hair and beauty industry to the Academy, that you will see when you train with them.
Viki is from a nursing background and has over 23 year’s experience; she is also qualified in health visiting. She has now been teaching in the NHS since 2008 and has recently turned her hand to beauty training; having qualified in aesthetics over three years ago.
Viki works long hours, still in the nursing industry, but also running her own skincare clinics in a salon.
Charlotte has been in the beauty industry for over 10 years now, opening her own salon when she was 19. She trained at Gateshead college where she was encouraged by tutors to enter competitions for nail art and nail extensions; even managing to win some, whoop!
Charlotte has now been teaching for 5 years. She initially began her teaching career working for a wholesale company. She would go into high street shops to train staff on particular beauty brands they stocked. From this she then went on to do some teaching for different academies. In 2020 she started at Bella Marie delivering our short beauty courses.
Along with teaching and running a beauty salon, Charlotte also has an online clothing store which keeps her busy. She is also obsessed with anything animal print and has so much stationary, she could give WH Smith a run for their money!
Zoe joined the Bella Marie team in April 2021 after previously working freelance as a beauty educator.
She has been a qualified beauty therapist for 11 years now, qualifying in 2010. At 19 she opened her own salon which she ran for 7 years before switching things up and studying to become a tutor. She likes to focus on teaching lash and brow treatments, including Russian lashes, brow lamination and lash lifts.
She has a lovely dog called Joey and loves a good bit of DIY!
Louise Hill – Assistant Technician
Louise first qualified in Nails over 10 year ago. In 2020 she decided to brush up on her skills and joined us at the Academy to do our Level 3 Nail Technology course. After completing the course she then did a few other courses in lashes. Louise joined our Bella Marie team in 2021 as an Assistant Technician. She assists our tutors in the courses and shares her passion through helping others with their learning. Alongside this, she is continuing to develop her skills with us. Louise is now currently underway with Level 3 Makeup AND Level 4 Teaching; so she can further her career with us and within the beauty industry.
