“I’m Claire… I’m currently working full time in children and family social care as a team manager. I’ve been in role for almost 20 years and whilst I’m still passionate about this type of work, I’ve always wanted to explore my other passion which is “all things beauty” but never made the time to do it. However, this year I took a leap of courage and in June I started on my beauty journey. 

I came across Bella Marie Training Academy online and quickly signed up for numerous courses including; Manicure and Gel polish, Perfect Brows, Facial, Spray Tanning, Semi-permanent Lashes, Lash Lift and Microdermabrasion. I’m also hoping to complete the Russian Lash course soon too. 

The training staff at the Academy are amazing and make learning so interesting and achievable, and the communications team are also fantastic and liaise with you super quick!  I’m in the process of setting up my own business from home and have recently converted my daughter’s old “garden teen shed” into “Beauty at the Shed with Clara”

Kirsty came to us after finding out we are a DWP APPROVED TRAINING PROVIDER which meant she could receive funding from them towards her training along with self-funding some of her courses and setting up her own business. 

Since first coming to the academy in March 2018 Kirsty has completed 9 of our courses and gone on to set up her own mobile business “Beauty by Kirsty”.

Kirsty now works in Bella Marie Student Salon building a very successful business and client base.
